1. Our commitment

We want every American to be able to file a report, and we build this site to meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidance: sufficient color contrast, full keyboard navigation, visible focus states, screen-reader landmarks, and reduced-motion support for users who prefer no animation.

2. What that means in practice

• Every form field has a visible label and helper text.
• All interactive controls are operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
• Animations can be disabled system-wide and the site will still work fully.
• Touch targets are sized for phones, and the layout does not break at small screen widths.
